Croydon’s young creative minds are invited to join the borough’s Poet Laureate, Shaniqua Benjamin, and take part in Voices of Croydon - her first online exhibition with the Museum of Croydon.
A trove of films, photographs, art and artefacts revealed from the borough’s archive and museum collections will be available to view online and on social media from next Friday under the Museum of Croydon’s 75th anniversary celebration of VE Day.
Residents are being reminded they can use their Croydon library card to unlock access to a hugely diverse offering of books, magazines and films online when libraries close their doors today (Friday 20 March).
All are invited to a host of community events to support the thousands of people in the borough living with dementia, and their carers.
The Museum of Croydon and the local community are showcasing their craft skills in a London-wide project celebrating 100 years of votes for women.
